Former home of the America's Cup and only 20 minutes from the centre of Perth, is a vibrant, fun, bohemian, colourful and exciting destination! Whatever the time of day or year, there's always plenty to do in Fremantle! Fishing Boat harbour- enjoy delicious fresh fish 'n chips with beautiful views of fishing boat harbour and the indian ocean. Very affordable, very enjoybale! For history, cluture and arts, visit the many museums and art galleries. The Round House and Fremantle Prison provide an interesting account of the first western settlers in Fremantle, many of whom were convicts form the British Isles. "Cappuccino strip" is ideal for relaxing with the newspaper or chatting with friends, whilst taking in the beautiful surrounding heritage buildings. Gino's is an institution for locals and tourists in Fremantle. There are four micro breweries in Freo, including the Sail & Anchor and Little Creatures, both of which have great locations and offer delicious food as well as award-winning beers. Fremantle has a wealth of artistic talent which can be seen in local designer clothes and accessories such as fooch.
